Korean language course A1.1 (without knowledge)

The course is designed for students with no previous experience in Korean. The course program will help you learn basic communication skills and understand simple conversational situations.

About the course

Upon completion of the A1.1 level Korean course, you will be able to:

  • Greet, say goodbye, introduce yourself.
  • Conduct simple dialogues on everyday topics.
  • Pronounce Korean sounds and letters.
  • Read and write Hangul (Korean alphabet).
  • Use basic grammatical structures.
  • Build simple affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences.
  • Master 300-500 basic words and expressions.
  • Describe yourself and others (age, profession, etc.).
  • Understand simple phrases and questions.
  • Get to know the basics of Korean culture and rules of conduct.

Course grammar material:

  • Learning Hangul (the Korean alphabet).
  • Rules for reading and pronunciation of letters and syllables.
  • Nominative particles: 이/가 Accusative particles: 을/를
  • Location particles: 에, 에서
  • Plural (들).
  • Polite addresses and suffixes.
  • Present tense (adding 아요/어요 to the verb base).
  • Past tense (았어요/었어요).
  • Future tense (겠어요).
  • Negative verb form (안 before the verb or -지 않다).
  • Using the -까 endings? to form questions.
  • Interrogative words: 무엇 (what), 어디 (where), 언제 (when), 왜 (why), 어떻게 (how).
  • Commonly used adverbs: 많이 (many), 조금 (few), 아주 (very), 잘 (good).
  • Simple conjunctions: and (그리고), but (그렇지만), therefore (그래서).
  • Counting words for objects, people, animals.

The classes take place twice a week for 2 teaching hours (90 minutes) according to a pre-arranged schedule.

What are the terms of payment for the A1.1 Korean course at the Polyglot Training Center?

The payment terms of the Korean course provide for the option of splitting payments by month. However, it is also possible to pay for the entire course at once. This allows students to choose the most convenient payment option depending on their preferences and financial capabilities.
