The Latvian language courses at the POLYGLOT school provide an opportunity for everyone to start learning the language, develop everyday communication skills and improve their language skills. Our program is built on the balanced development of basic skills: speaking, listening, reading, writing. We teach modern Latvian, which is used in everyday communication. In the classroom, we simulate real-life situations, and students can use their personal experience and knowledge when discussing relevant topics.
Groups (5 – 10 people) are formed according to several levels of language proficiency and the desired areas of study:
64 academic hours (32 lessons) – 4 months of study
Classes are held twice a week for 2 academic hours (90 minutes)
Typically, there are 6 to 8 people in a group, which allows the teacher to comfortably teach all students.
Our teachers are our pride. We take their selection very seriously, ensuring a high level of professionalism. Each of them undergoes a strict selection and must have work experience and proper education.
