Upon completion of the A1 level Latvian course, you will be able to:
Course grammar material:
Level A1 in Latvian is a beginner level of language proficiency. This level is designed for those who are just starting to learn Latvian and want to acquire basic communication skills. The course covers basic grammar and lexical topics that will help students begin to communicate on an everyday level.
Introduction and greetings: The ability to introduce oneself, greet and say goodbye.
Basic expressions: Use of polite phrases and expressions in everyday life.
Basic vocabulary: Topics such as family, shopping, food, and hobbies.
Reading and comprehending simple texts: Signs, inscriptions, simple announcements and instructions.
Writing: Filling out forms, writing short notes and congratulations.
Speaking skills: Conducting simple conversations and discussing everyday topics.
Basic grammar: Alphabet, pronunciation, nouns (gender and number), adjectives (agreement with nouns), personal and possessive pronouns, simple tenses of verbs (present, past, and future), numerals (basic and ordinal), basic prepositions, interrogative sentences, and simple sentence structure.
The classes take place twice a week for 2 teaching hours (90 minutes) according to a pre-arranged schedule.
The payment terms of the Latvian course provide for the option of splitting payments by month. However, it is also possible to pay for the entire course at once. This allows students to choose the most convenient payment option depending on their preferences and financial capabilities.
