Level B2 in Latvian corresponds to an advanced level of language proficiency. This level is designed for students with good knowledge of Latvian who want to improve their skills and achieve a high level of proficiency.

About the course

Upon completion of the B2 level Latvian course, you will be able to:

Communicate confidently and fluently on a variety of topics, both orally and in writing.
Understand and analyze complex texts of various genres.
Use expressive and stylistically correct constructions in speech and writing.
Use complex grammatical structures, including conditional sentences and indirect speech.
Effectively use professional terminology and idiomatic expressions.
Participate in business, educational and cultural discussions in Latvian.
Understand and interact more deeply with Latvian culture and society.

Complex tense forms: Conditional and subjunctive mood.
Complex grammatical structures: Subordinate clauses, indirect speech, expression of assumptions.
Complicated sentence structures: Complex sentences, direct and indirect speech.
Learning pronouns and prepositions: Relative pronouns, the use of prepositions with different cases.
Advanced grammatical structures: Complex syntactic structures, modal verbs and participles.
Idiomatic expressions: Understanding and use of fixed expressions and phraseological units.
