The course program will help you master the basic communication skills that are necessary for everyday situations. A beginner level of French proficiency will allow you not to get lost in a French city, buy the necessary things, explain yourself to a doctor and in other everyday situations.

About the course

Upon completion of the A1 level French course, you will be able to:

Formulate simple phrases and expressions for everyday communication.
Understand and use basic grammatical structures such as the present tense of verbs, basic pronouns and prepositions.
Engage in basic dialogues on topics related to everyday life (e.g., greetings, introductions, shopping, ordering food, etc.).
Develop listening and reading skills on simple texts in French related to everyday situations.
Get acquainted with the elementary culture and traditions of France through the language of French communication.

Course grammar material:

Verbs “to be” and “to have”: Basic forms and use in sentences.
Basic tenses: Present tense (Présent): Formation and usage to express current actions and general facts.
Basic pronouns and prepositions: Correct use and recognition in the context of simple sentences.
Simple interrogative and negative constructions: Formation of questions and negations under the main topics.
