About the course

Upon completion of the B1 level German course, you will be able to:

  • Understand and use more complex language structures.
  • Actively participate in the conversation and express your opinion.
  • Read and understand more complex texts.
  • Write structured texts, including essays and reports.
  • Work on pronunciation and intonation.
  • Understand foreign language speech and expand vocabulary.

Course grammar material:

  • Advanced tenses: Simple and complex future, conditional tenses (Konjunktiv II), Plusquamperfekt.
  • Complex verb constructions: Modal verbs with infinitive, verb government.
  • Compound forms of pronouns: Relative, reflexive, possessive.
  • Complex sentence structures: Subordinate clauses, introductory words and conjunctions.
  • Prepositions in different contexts: Expressions and usage.
  • Complex structures of nouns and adjectives: Degrees of comparison, indefinite pronouns, agreement.
